It turned out, well, bad >< She was sitting in the front row right behind the projector and she could BARELY see it >.> Dim projector + low-contrast text = OTL

D-LOSHOS ;D
Last Friday was quite awesome, I think :) For the holiday assembly, I went to the first one while
everyone else went to the
second one D< Grade 11 homeroom ftw >< Then because their assembly ended SO LATE Mr Morris didn't get to receive his D-LOSHOS shortbread cookies ^^ Oh speaking of shortbread cookies, here's the recipe for you Chloe~
Shortbread Cookies (Yield: 36)
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
- 1/2 cup 2 Tbsp icing sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch or rice flour
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F. Beat butter until light and fluffy. Sift in icing sugar and beat again until fluffy, scraping down sides of the bowl often. Sift in cornstarch or rice flour and blend in. Sift in all purpose flour and salt and mix until dough comes together (it will be soft). Stir in vanilla.
- Spoon large teaspoonfuls of cookie dough (or use a small ice cream scoop) onto an un-greased cookie sheet, leaving 2 inches between cookies and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until bottoms brown lightly. Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
Ok uhh... so at the end of the school day I had my VLF (Vive le français!) interview with Eric (but not Pravien because he had "tutoring")... OTL it was so FAIL. She was like "Uhmm, I want you guys to come back to me for a second interview with more concrete ideas because you guys don't seem like you've really thought through and done enough research about your topic" *CRIES IN A CORNER*
So yeah >.> That's my long blog post for now~ It's late at night.. again.. and I'm blogging.. again..
PS. Chloe: I want the green tea cake recipe D:
